1. Give everyone in the morning a pirate phrase sheet. I always keep one big A2 size one of these on the wall.
   
2. Type each student’s name into the pirate name generator on site and give people nametags for the day.
   
3. Making pirate flags from black bags and eye patches from milk cartons is good fun.
   
4. After you give out instructions, have another instructor (dressed like a pirate of course) translate what you just said into pirate-speak with a deeper voice, so all the pirates can understand. For this I suggest you use one of the English-Pirate translators, also on the site.
