Outline: Customise your oppies/mirrors/whatever into MONSTER boats with custom cut out sails. This can be an activity or an ALL DAY EVENT. Add spinnakers, square rig sails, stick on flames, everything and anything funky. It's fantantastic for a blowout day.

Needed: A few Scissors, lots of big bin bags, markers, cellotape, optional random materials like Christmas decorations or something.

Beforehand,

1. Draw out the team specs headings onto a big white sheet with markers. (Download a sample sheet, click here). This contains everything from the logo to the theme song.
   
2. Cut out the bags along the side so that they double out into a bigger single sheet.
   

Then,

1. Make two or more teams, one boat to a team.
   
2. Each team fills out their specs, team name, salute and all that.
   
3. They then design their own plastic bag sails with the scissors.
   
4. Team members can donate their boat parts to the team boat, eg 2 sprits, 3 bailers to make one super boat.
   
5. A drag race usually follows. Straight run in the beach. (If you can actually beat then hats off, bow of honour)

Note if you get too carried away with this, make sure to set aside some clean up time.
